Was out this morning fishing, with the recent rain there is debris that is floating. Some of it is not a big deal others could ruin a day, please be careful and safe out there. Even some of the larger debris is hard to see if there is chop.

Pictures don't do justice to the size of the larger ones, large enough to do some damage. The log in the second pic is about 4ft long and 10inches around

Were you nice enough to move some of this stuff from the main lake?

I remember one day out at lake travis, there was a fridge floating in the main channel. Oh, and then there was a dock that broke loose out in the middle of the lake as well, wanna talk about a hazard at night. Both times I called the lake police to come and tow to shore.

There was a lot of smaller debris that was all over the lake and Im sure that wasn't the only big chunks out there, just dont want anyone tearing up their boats or possibly getting injured

I can't wait for the lake to get back to normal level. I like to use ramps with courtesy docks, so I launch at katies woods, but I like to fish the west end. So its a bit of a boat ride.

I hear you, I put in at Katies and run the lake quite frequently to fish there

I hate to see that stuff in the water. But, that means we got some rain.

Grapevine is only about 3.5ft low now it seems. From what I was measuring by we got between 6-8" of water in it from the rains. Im ready for meadowmere to be useable since it is less than a mile from my house. That 7 min drive to Katies woods is getting rough haha.
