I'm sure Jim had to change is drawers after that shark almost took that fish from his hand.

That's insane! I'd have to toss my waders after that.

Warm up first with some Texas bluewater action. Redfish, sharks, specks, king and spanish mackerel, snapper, cobia...

Man, aren't you worried about a shark swimmin' up and chompin' your feet off?

This is a little long, but once you get through his commentary, he shows the shark circling him. It was a little scary just watching it.

Nope, sharks don't eat people....usually. We had a greater chance of being struck by lightning, though there wasn't a cloud in the sky on tournament day.

Besides, most of the sharks in this part of world are small species, anyway, like the one in this short video taken last summer at at the pier in Padre Balli Park (tournament headquarters for the Bluewater Kayak Classic).

I see people fishing out in the ocean with their legs hanging over the edge. It would just be my luck a shark would decide my legs looked good to eat . Lol.

I paddle miles out into the gulf to catch sharks in their own backyard to assert our place above them on the food chain. I do this so they remember who is boss and don't come eat you in your sleep. You can thank me now.

I can't wait till I can go tarpon fishing.
