I'm finishing up the last of my "trash"..what we call it, that we made over the holiday. Brand new recipe for me, and the best and easiest to make. And yepper, its got a big KICK!!
1/2 box Chex, all three kinds, wheat, corn, rice
1 1/2 sticks melted butter, we don't use margarine
small can, 6 oz. of roasted peanuts, we used the redskin type
Saltlick Dry BBQ Seasoning, start with only a couple ounces! Its easy to add more, you can't take it back when it gets too hot.
Mix the Saltlick with the butter and drizzle it all over the Chex and peanut mixture, drizzle...stir....drizzle....stir method.
Bake it slowly and stir often in a 250-300 degree oven...AFTER it cools down, the flavor comes alive!
