after seeing the fish you catch you should get a landing mat. to protect the fish against rocks and other stuff.

I'm working on it, will land them on grass for now until I can afford for the landing mat.

No, I meant a new car, because the landing mat if you used it long enough, it would make lots of smell....

if you wash it after the session with lake water and let it dry its ok. besides you can always get a bag to keep it in. it only gets funky with buff slime left on haha.

You could use spinning gear as well, you would just need to REALLY loosen the drag so the rod doesnt fly in the water...lol

Most important, make sure you have the rod holders, you can buy them at Walmart, the red one looks like the spring. It cost about a dollar each.

Yeah, that's true. I got two and Jesse got 1. It's been so slow since the last week at White Rock. Don't really know why. Probably somebody else fishing over there then take the fish home with them ==> no more fish in the lake...

me and jesse talk quite a bit. but i think its that spot really, that place has never been a hot place. right now id be fishing east side for 1 deeper water and 2 shallow flats.
