I am scheduled to take customers down the West Coast to fish Lake Oviachic for a week. Anyone wishing to take a week vacation and trailer down with us is welcome.

We leave Fort Worth on Feb. 9 and will be traveling to Odessa to pick up another group and on to Nogalas, Az. on the 10th., to pick up the second group.
We will cross the border on Sat. the 11th. and be fishing by 2:00 PM. that afternoon.
We will start our return on Sat. the 18th.. We will be back here on the 19th. of Feb..

You and your partner can expect to catch 100 Bass a day. 50 of those will be over 5 lbs. each.
I will be glad to help with your paperwork so everything is in order when crossing and returning at the boarder.
You can expect to spend $100 per day and that includes everything: Gas, Motel, Food, permits, and insurance.

I have contacts all up and down Hwy. 15 which is interstate from Nogalas to South America. They are reporting that there has not been any trouble and the road is guarded heavely; along with being a toll road which makes it safer to travel.
I have been doing this for 25 years and do not feel the least bit concerned about makeing the drive.

If anyone would like to fly down and meet us at the airport in Obregon, Mx.; I can arrange that also.

I went with Don in 2010 and it was a pretty easy trip down with no problems at all. The food at the restruant near the cabins is excellent and very reasonable.
I fish in Mexico several times a year and never feel unsafe. That includes Falcon.

If we can get 6 teams to go. My two customers said their company would put up the money for us to have a little tournament fun while there. Your winnings could cover your expenses for the entire trip.

Customer's companies will put up $2,000 if we have as many as 6 teames to go. That will pay for someones trip.

My partner and I have 4 weeks vacation this year so..... we might entertain the thought.

Some of the PMs have ask about the long drive and how that works.
It is a two day drive. I usually leave a day early and go to Odessa. Mike and I do the shopping for groceries (breakfast and boat food) get everything packed in the trucks and boats and leave for Nogalas, Az. the next morning. We arive in Nogalas to meet my two customers who have driven from New Mexico there. Put thier truck in storage, spend the night in Nogalas and cross the borader on Sat. morning the 11th.. We will be fishing at Lake Oviachic a little after 2:00 PM. on Sat.
Our return trip is faster. We leave on the following Sat. and back here on Sun.

We have three teams going if no one backs out. We need 3 more teams.
