I'm a total newbie. Pulled the trigger in a cuda but second guessing myself thinking a coosa is a better choice. Either way. These rivers that have rapids etc and rock that you can't go back upstream, how do you get back? Do you fight the current? I know it sounds silly but I really don't know. I understand paddle back on flat water but what about otherwise?

Sometimes you just have to get out and hoof it....As far as the best yak, shorter kayaks with increased rocker perform better in rapids.

My only second guessing thing is the fact that I do have a boat. So the larger bodies of water I'd most likely pic that one first. I'm
Thinking I would screw myself with the cuda when I decide to go rivers

I always wade back through the current with the Coosa in tow behind me, If I don't have a takeout vehicle down stream. I'm taking the Cuda down the Colorado for three days this weekend.

when your walking back up stream at the rapids a longer kayak wont make a difference when pulling it from a rope. You made the right choice by picking the cuda over the coosa.
