Honestly, because you are making it a big deal to not put it. That's what it boils down to. If people know what area you are in, people are more likely to help you out, and invite you to fish with them. Friends are easy to make around here if you are friendly in return.

Ok. That's your choice and I respect that. Now why make a big deal out of nothing?

But to answer your question I would say pound for pound channel cat.

I didn't run my mouth. I just don't want to put my location on here.

[color:#CC0000]Could you please elaborate a bit?

This is why I stay out of the Bass section, I know there are some great guys there also, just too much of this stuff---
Yes I'll be glad to.
I hope I can make sense and not look like I am just rambling.
My reply was a reaction to your post and I do not speak for anyone else on here, so if what I write offends you, it will be me and not "The Catfish Section"
This is already taking more time than I want to spend on this so I'll be direct.
When I see statements like--

"Cause that just shows your intelligence level. Anyways, the question stands."
"Why don't you put your social security number down?"
After these I see your past post and you seem to post in the bass section a lot.
Not sure why but along with some very encouraging folks in that section, there just seems to a lot that answer like you do.

I just don't like it, but that's Ok.

You have a right to say it and I have a right to not like it.

This a very welcoming section, but some folks are just harder to warm up to.
Maybe its me, maybe it you, doesn't matter anymore.
I'm done here with this.
I hope you get a satisfactory answer to your original question.

Yes, but let me try to explain where I'm coming from. Someone on the internet asks your location. Then asks you to go fishing with them. Next thing you know you are getting murdered by some pedophile. All because you put your location. I might sound like I'm getting an atitude or being rude, but I'm really not. That's the bad thing about non-verbal communication. So if anyone on here is offended or what ever else you are then I'm sorry for making a big deal out of nothing

Ok, well I said " that just shows your intelligence level" because, I didn't want answers like "the big ones do". I was asking a serious question and not trying to be a pain.
The second quotation I can't remember the exact context, but that phrase was more of a filler if you will. You know like something to say to break an awkward silence or what ever.
The third quote was, thinking back, uneccasary but I didn't think it mattered my location if I was asking a question like "what type of cat fights the hardest?" it might be just me, but I'd say that was a pretty general question that did not need a certain location

Hey kid. I would'nt have people thanking me for taking them fishing or know a bunch of these guys by name if I was the murderin type. I also would'nt represent a Tackle company or advertise for two very well known guides in North Texas. You're either hanging out in the wrong chat rooms or still live with your mother. Nevertheless welcome to the catfishing section.
