I'm looking for new places to go wade other than 8 mile road. I bought one of those maps but I'm not sure what places are worth going to our not.

Any suggestions would be a great help.

I believe the Oct. or Nov. issue of Texas Saltwater Fishing magazine identified several locations in your area.

Be careful at St Luis pass. Strong current at times and drop offs. Try the end of 103rd Street. Go to the right and fish the edge of the channels. The first two residential piers there are always good for a few nice flounders. That first channel marker you see as you go out used to be a hell of a flounder hole back in the day. The only time I ever saw a flounder feeding frenzy with shad trying to jump in the boat.
