My son has a basketball tourney this weekend in Taylor and was wondering if there was any place Ta fish.. They'll have bout 2-3 hrs in between each game....thx

San Gabriel River in Circleville, 6 miles north of the high school. Try the "steps" area. Any local can give you the skinny on details. There are a few white bass starting to show up there, few and far between, but catchable. U might stumble into a hungry school.

Rooster Tails, Roadrunners, any inline spinners, jigs, small mini traps, live minnows. Ultralight gear. 4-8 lb test.
