Freaking Amazing is all I can say about that lake, Unbelievable- I am convinced

Me and Ryan (BIGREDNITRO) just returned from our four day Falcon trip. Being both first timers we decided to stay American side for now. I hear alot say the Mexican side is better, my only thought is how, does it really get any better than what we experienced. Good gosh what a fishery that is! The shear number of 7-10 lb fish is nuts. Most all our fish came on cranks and swimjigs/jigs. Those fish are big and hungry Ryan caught 3 fish over ten (11lb 11oz TOAD!, and 2 10lb 6 ounce bohemoths). I did not break the curse of the DD but I have no doubt a few times there I will, but man that curse is terrible But I caught a ton of 7 and 8 lb fish so you won't hear me complain too much We got alot of footage with the 2 GoPro's and I have a feeling my OCD will take me a while to get the video together, but here is how our days went. All fish were released to swim again, we kept some in the well for the mulitple fish photos. Released alive and mean again.


Our first day we did the best as far as numbers, 50 with a 9.5 and 8.5 as biggest, with a large chunk being 6- heavy 7lb fish. Here are a couple pics from the first day of the bigger fish. In shorts by 9:00- love it. 5 fish limit = 41 lbs.








Our second day, kinda slower but we managed 25 good solid fish, biggest was an 8. 5 fish limit=37 lbs.



The third day was when the bohemoth decided to come. Ryans 11lb 11ounce, absolute beast! We caught around 35 fish. 5 fish limit = 42 lbs.





The fourth day slow on numbers but not on beasts. 2 tens by Ryan on this day and it was foggy as all get out running that morn, thank goodness for GPS. 5 fish limit = 44 lbs.






Video to come but I have a ton of footage to go thru, and yep, I am hooked! I shall return very quickly.

This was a life changing trip. I shall return! Jeremy and I were so sore from catching fish after two days that we could hardly move on days 3 and 4, but hey, it was well worth it.

Awesome fish! Sounds like y'all had a great tip! No offense, but I cringe at the thought of leaving those big fish in the livewell all day for the sake of a photo.

I am very curious were you were that you didnt manage to have 3 or 4 boats in the background in each pic. Was down there Sat. and Sunday and there was 3 or 4 boats on every point in every direction 10 miles from Zapata. Fishing was tough for us, and we talked to a club tourney that 16lbs won with 17 teams which made us feel better.

UTMallard, we were very careful in tending to these giants. It was nerve racking, but all were realeased alive to fight again. It's not everyday a fellow can catch 3 10+ fish in 2 days. But you are justified in cringing, we both were.

UTMallard the fish were not held long at all, it took 5 minutes to put those last four fish in the boat in that pic in the boat. When I say wolfpacks, thats how we got our fish, huge spurts of feeding giants. I will let Ryan tell you about the second day when we had a frenzy of fish stealing baits. And if you dont believe in the hydrowave, you are dead wrong. What do you think Ryan, does it work

I thought I saw you guys up the river and I drove over to the boat and said, are you the T A & M fan thats on the TFF? They looked at me like I had three eyes with a booger hanging from my nose....lol. Needless to say that was a big negative ghostrider.
