looks like they have combined the fly fishing show with the dallas boat show. TFO is a sponsor. The three fly fishing clubs, Dallas, Red River and Fort Worth will be doing demonstrations at the event. stay tuned for more details

The original outdoors show had been in Arlington, then moved to Dallas. It wasn't strictly a fly fishing show. The fly fishing show which had been in the Arlington convention center quit coming at least four years ago...

What fly fishing show have they combined? They actually combined the Texas Fishing & Outdoors Show with the boat show. I am meeting with TFO on Tuesday to get the actual details.

Hello! My name is Mike Mendez. I am the librarian/fly tying chair of the Fort Worth Fly Fishers. The three fly fishing clubs in the North Texas area (FW, Dallas, and Red River) have been asked to set up at the Dallas Boat Show to share information about our clubs and to do some fly tying demonstrations. I made this simple chart to help sign people up to sit at the booth and pass out information and hopefully tie some flies.
I have broken up the days into 2 or 2.5 hour segments. I have also placed two blanks to sign up next to each time so that hopefully no person is at the booth by themselves. If you would like to sign up for a time, just copy the chart on to your post and add your name.

I've been considering learning more about your club and going to a meeting, just haven't done that yet but I would be happy to volunteer a couple hours on a weekend spot if you need someone. I know very little about fly fishing but can hand out info. Just let me know.
