Thanks for the answers to the first set of questions and the link. I have read it and it was very useful. Now I have to ask. What is the best way to handle live fish. Both as bait and keepers that may be culled.

Also helpful if you plan to take pictures and/or fish tournaments - Get a Hawg Trough

Do people use stringers or baskets?

depends zachary. people do still use stringers & baskets. what is it that you normally fish for?
a bucket with some water works just fine this time of yr. but not when its warm or hot. for culling during the warmer months you'll need to build a good live well that will circulate fresh water across or to your catch if your interesting in culling.

Everything freshwater. Cats, pm's, whites, crappie. In regards to the question I am thinking more of catch and release, but to some degree about whites I will eat.

for crappie n whites a lot of us throw em in a cooler that has home made ice blocks in it. keeps them fresh whether its hot or cold out. you need very little to no ice right now though.
like i said, bucket with water works just fine right now. you could still release em 4 hrs later.

IMPORTANT:
For catch n release, we take water resistant cameras. we catch em 1st, make em pose 2nd (SuperStar!), then post em right here last. Everyone sets em free. Some to water & some to the grease/grill loco

QUESTION:
WHat r these pm's you speak of? hmmm
