Great job! I made it to the lake finally, went straight out from the state park to the trees and nothing. Headed south to the boat show as the bite died off. Just my luck left around 2:00 and I guess they fired up again. Going tomorrow maybe my luck will change.

Enjoyed it out there Frank,I really wanted to end the day with a 20# fish. Kinda like a firework grand finale! Just couldn't pull it off. Guys, if you haven't met Frank and his crew, you need to. Great company for sure. Another Ray Hubbard good guy! Here's a few pics I got yesterday of some Twok Brutes : FishboyFrank Ed Rick

I wanted Todd and Terry, Ray, Keith, Mike, Austin et all to see the ones we had to throw back... I like that grand finale fireworks analogy! See by us not getting a 20-pounder it means we have to come back. No downside in that! It still blows me away catching that many quality fish in January. God Bless Texas.... Along the lines of Arnold, "We'll be back....." Happy Fishing. P.S. You are now my official "Fish Whisperer...." One final comment. Found out Matt knows my wife's cousin Casey and Casey taught Matt in school! Small world.....

Oops! Frank, besides the advil forgot to tell ya there will be many "throw backs" when you go with Matt. Thats turrible, LOL?? Woah, the earth is indeed round about your wife's cousin! Tell me any "dirts" abt Matt's childhood when you get a chance, lol. Bribery is good in this scenario.. Yeah, my saltwater buddies and family along the coast were amazed also when I send them braggin pics. They asked...what in Dallas? In Dec/Jan?? That big?? What da?? LOL Well, they accepted it now...

I can't imagine how Matt must feel. Man doing that day in and day out takes dedication for sure! Well, they accepted it now... Todd Matt actually gave us some secrets about Kathy's cousin LOL! Went down with buddies Rick and Ed to fish with guide Matt Cartwright today. Caught (98) and over (50) were medium, and many large, hybrids and stripers we couldn't keep since we had our limit. Plenty of huge sandbass. Was a beautiful day from start to finish. Matt has some pictures he will post soon. One little note. In all my years of using guides from time to time have never had this happen. Todd- you told me ahead of time! We were ready to call it about 4:00... Matt says, "Just a few more they are still down there." So a few more were caught then we headed in. Amazing day. Matt thanks for a great, great day! lake guide Matt is an awesome guide congrats
