First time out in my newly owned 12footer....Proud owner of a Percetion Pescador 12....the pelican castaway 116 is on the shelf. So anyway, landed this 22lber first fish out of the Pescador! Have family over from Shreveport So I put it on the stringer, well what do you know the metal circle on the stringer breaks and all I see is a tail swimming down! then a hour or two later This hits Nice 9'er Ended the day catching Only 3 FISH but had several hits! The Pescador is def a upgrade from the castaway, VERY STABLE I stood up in it...It tracks PERFECT compared to the Pelican lol and handle the waves with no problem.....only thing I didnt like is that it catches alot more wind! Happy "Pescador" here!

Love my pescadore, but I'm impressed if you can stand in it. My balance must not be very good.
Congratz on a couple very nice catfish.

Nice kitty! I wanna catch some kitties that size too. Maybe after the winter crappie run is over I'll try my hand at cat fishing.

Bummer on the fish, but you still landed the nice cat. I am still setting up my pecsador and you are right. It's like a Cadillac to my castaway, the castaway has put a lot of fish in the freezer and still will since my son and friends still use it. Jan 7 2012 by Texas big redneck, on Flickr Since my free time has been sitting on the lake in the pecsador it may take all winter to get it riged LOL!

Eventually we will go out as well. Never fished Lavon but it is just across the street so to speak. By the way, the holes that are in your perception, does water seep in and get you wet. I have never experienced a kayak like that until I ignorantly bought the pelican 116, cheap version. Too bad I didn't get the information that I have gotten in the past week on TFF.

I like your anchor trolley Big Redneck. I've had a temporary set up on mine. I bought some eyelets to make it permanent, just have not got around to it. Did you use pop rivets on the back?

On the back one I used stainless fine thread screws with some glue just on the threads. The rest of them are riveted in. If for some reason the back one breaks it may be a bugger bear getting the screws out. I still have to do the anchor trolly on the other side I will use rivets all the way. I just use 550 paracord, but remember it will shrink a little the first time it gets wet and dries.
