It was an awesome day on the water today. It was like spring time fishing in January!! I had the pleasure to take out Mike who drove from Brenham TX to fish with “Get the Net” Guide service. Mike caught his limit of Crappie in 7 to 10 ft on jigs. The trick was to find a branch in that depth and just keep bumping it with the jig ‘till a big slab found it!!

It has been an awesome past few days on the water. I got the wonderful opportunity to take some new clients from Tomball, TX, and we put it on them!! They caught all their fish dead sticking jigs in 7 to 12 ft over brush tops. We ended up with 56 crappie and countless throw backs! Not bad for January crappie fishing!!
