I was out at oyster creek yesterday and I got some buffs to roll chumming with oats and rabbit pellet method. It was 5 or 10 feet from shore. I was using a snow man rig with a creamy tiger nut boilie with a boom boom spice pop up. I had a hard run but it didnt stick. Whats your favorite way and any pointers for me.

Depends where I'm fishing at

Big buffs I only use drilled range cubes. If there isn't some giant buffs then i don't really try to target them.

I hear small baits (pop ups especially) are good for them.

Maybe try to downsize your bait and hook size.

Next time im gonna try a pop up with a small hook and a split shot to hold it down.
