Can someone tell me a bit about the fishing on the march or Gulf side from the state park? I am thinking of camping there a bit in mid-March.

Did it open back up? I looked awhile back and it was still.closed from the hurricane damage

The TPWD siteb says it is open with only an onsite port-a-potti and self pay system. Primitive camping.
Anybody fished it? Especially the marsh side?
