Anyone have any pictures of an old Lowrance unit, maybe a 332, 334, 337, 522 etc with what the "scene" looks like when you are looking for fish and getting set up on them?
Also, what settings do you use for sensitivity, colorscale, etc?
I am trying to get mine set up and it is not coming along too well. Thanks.
Thanks Larry. I am just not getting anything to look like that. Been messing with it for a year. Mine is a thru hull transducer and I think that is making a huge difference. I set up on what I think are fish working shad and broken up shad groups and have nice arches but have been coming up short, no great big fish. I get mad when I go out and dont catch a 20-30# fish anymore.
Anyhow, I will keep working at it. It might help to get my head out of ducks and back to catfish too. Spend more time lately looking for ducks than working on the catfish setup.
Ever seen a white Ranger as a duck huntin boat? hahahahahahah
Check and see if your unit is set on the type of transducer you have. Should be a silver tag on your wire with the number of the transducer

Tom - I got your FB message. It just came through from 2 days ago. I will give you a call. I know this, when I bought the boat brand new it had an X52 unit. It was probably set up right from Ranger. I put the 337 in it and used existing transducer (it was the same part number for the X52 ans 337).
Is there a setting you have to scroll to in the unit to change transducer type (as in skimmer vs thru hull)? I am sure I could figure that out easily. I just did not look that far into it.
i dont think skimmer or thru hull makes a difference.

Oh, you mean since it is a graph for dual frequency transducer? It is set on the correct one, yes.
It is just a matter of messing with it and playing with it and I need to just do it. I am sure it is not too hard, I just need to put in the time. Was just cheating on here trying to see what I needed to get to.
You might go to the General Discussion section of the forum, and ask Jason Gilstrap, he is a Lowrance Rep, and he is in that section all the time answering questions for people, I'm sure he can help you!!!
