I have a nice CC boat, plenty of guns, Nice TV, so whats my wife get me for Christmas..... a Kayak. Guess I'll have to fish even more! lol Now I just need to rig it out. It is a Emotion Renegade like the one in this link (Minus the Hatch): http://www.emotionkayaks.com/kayaks/renegade/#

Do any of you guys have one of these that can post a pic and describe your setup. I am looking for ideals.
I plan on install a hatch.. more likely two (one at the seat and one up front).
I have a crate and a old Garmin 240 Gold to use. I make LED lights so I will be making a pole light (white) on my own that will also double as a seeing light (using UV LEDs). Will make and mount some Green LED lighting to the bottom for night fishing. I also have a good high back seat for it.

Below is a pic of my Kayak.

Cant go wrong with some flush mounted rod holders. Mist people put them behind the seat

Congrats on your yak--you have a good wife. And you came to the right place for ideas. This part of the forum has a lot of tribal knowledge on rigging up all manner of yak.

After adding the flush mounted rod holders and a hatch up front, I'd be looking at making a small fishing crate for the back.

I'll be paying attention to this thread too as I just inherited a kayak from my father-in-law. The first thing I need to do is get a good back seat for it. The one it came with has little to zero support.

Same thing happened to me this year. Except the TV part. I'm on the water too much to worry about a television.
