I need help with places to hold the weigh-in for that event. So far the only thing people have posted is Tiffany's, but I would like to have a few more ideas. I may drive out there tomorrow to scope things out.

Thanks.

You could do it at Chaney Point.

You could also look at the Minnow Bucket, Oak Ridge Marina, and the SRA day use area over on the east side of the lake...

A weigh-in at these two might not be a good idea.

That's gonna be alot of boats plus what will already be out there just for the spawn. We r gonna have to be very careful.

Irving is a pretty big club and lake fork is usually their open so Saturday will have 100-150 boats, media will be that or more would be my bet. So 200-300 boats before guides, tourists and other weekenders will make for one hell of a crowded lake.

All of this is assuming it comes back up from being 7.5 feet low, if not I would imagine the turn out will be quite a bit less for the power boaters.

So where can we find the odds on the lake rising? I'd like to place a bet.
