headed to palestine this weekend. seen a few reports about usable ramps. just wandering how safe the lake is to run right now.

It is not even safe to run if you know it. Either you are going to or you are not.. LOL... By the way my boat is in the shop..

I live on the lake and won't run it........Fished here since 81'
I have seen and hit things I never knew were here!!!!!
There are some boats out on it but its "RISKY"
2-3 ramps....Villages, Ledbetter, Dam

I ran all over from Chaney down to the dam last saturday and never had a problem other than loading the boat. I guess I got lucky.

Don't launch at the LP Campground is the only advice I can give you.

I ran past some stickups a couple hundred yards north of Cobb Creek that got my attention a month or so ago. They were 150 yards or so off the bank on the west side, right where I've run for years.

Well said Eric. Would like to get back on palestine with you or the Leadbetter Legend for some of the "Hi-Bread" Fishing. Still in Granbury with another golden algea outbreak as we speak. Can't seem to get a break with this stuff. Keep posting your Palestine reports so I can see what I'm missing. May be you can convert Larry Jones to catching something other than those green trash fish off their beds! Give Brenda and Cody my regards.
