Crazy Angler Tackle.

I order them direct from Slab Bandit (Crazy Angler). If I order them today, they usually come in the mail on Saturday. You get a choice of everything that Slab Bandit carries. Then delivered direct to the house. I'm fix'n to place an order myself. Looking to Stock up for the upcoming year.

It is the same with everything in my opinion. If you order from Bass Pro or Cabela's just for example. You get the choice of EVERYTHING they carry, instead of the BEST SELLER'S that will be in the store.

Wild bill, if you take the back way to Chandler from Flint, Westlake Bait & Tackle on Hwy 315 8 mi South of Chandler, has the full line of Slab bandits including the 4 newest colors.

What colors do you guys like?
And do you just use a jig head and hook as normal?

I like putting them on 1/8 or 1/16 oz plain ball jigheads with no collars, not painted. Sickle hooks. Crazyangler sells them 100 pack for 6 bucks. I don't like the collared heads they are harder for me to get the plastic to look good. Just one man's opinion of course.

Colors I like are pearltruse, sour grape, louisiana shad, blue boy, and texas toast.

I use 1/8oz, 1/16oz, and during the hot summer I drop to 1/32oz and use the 1" Slab Bandit.

The 1/8oz & 1/16oz are weedless with a #2 Sickle Hook. The 1/32oz is weedless, with a #4 Sickle Hook. We fish mainly Brush Piles and Timber is the reason for totally using Weedless. Have not had ANY problems with hook-up. With the weedless Jigs, we can fish th complete Brush Piles, without hanging up and scaring off the fish. During the hot summer, we catch most of our fish deep inside the Brush Piles. The weedless doesn't hang-up when fishing deep in a Brush Pile, and when it bumps off limb is when we get most of our bitea. So we have gone completely Weedless now.

He doesn't have a store on site but Wulf's Outdoors in Athens and Westlake Bait & Tackel in Chandler have the complete line, and soon Porter's in Dogwood City will be handling them. CrazyAngler.com & Wulfsoutdoors.com both have online sales too.

We do retail out of our place here but during production months ie. now were closed due to liability reasons if something happened. Example last week we had a pre heat pressure line go several gals. of 200 deg. plastic sprayed the machine area and ceiling I'm glad i was in the office!We normally ship the day u order unless it's after 1:00 pm.
