First fishing trip in my Pro Angler on Eagle Mountain today. Started off trying to catch bait. Finally found some and got to fishing. I was about to anchor and noticed that I was drifting along at a very slow speed so I decided to try that.
Two baits drifted out yielded 4 catfish to 13lbs. First fish was 6-7lbs. 3 blues and one channel. Lot's of fun. Looking forward to getting my Bee Readys so I can anchor up on them and fish more rods.

Nah EM is in better shape now than it was in November. I'm fairly familiar with the lake so I know where the high spots are. There's still some caution that should be used on any lake round here but it's not doing too bad. They're pumping in water from Richland Chambers. I don't expect it to be long before we start catching yellow bass either.
