I posted a suggestion a couple years ago for a Forum Section called "Great Ideas". Things you do that make your fishing life better, but not really patentable or worth anything more than your time. This is one of those Great Ideas that was actually posted a few years ago by somebody else, but I haven't been able to find the original post to give the author credit.

Use a sprinkler to rinse off your trailer under the boat when you get home from the saltwater. It works great. Pull it with the hose, or with a rope, or drive forward and reverse over it. Either way works and is a lot easier than getting on your knees trying to hit everything. I use my docking rope looped around the sprinkler alternating with the hose to pull it stern to bow to stern 3 or 4 times after every saltwater trip.

Y'know, that's an excellent idea. Don't know why I've never thought of it.

Thank you.

My kudos go out to whoever the author was. That is a great idea! The older I get, the more I hate having to bend over to do anything. Thanks for posting the idea.

I was thinking about this idea today and a thought of another step that might actually improve the process. I always hook up the Salt Terminator attachment to the ears to flush the motor. Why not hook the same attachment to the water hose and rinse it with the cleansing agent. Someone may have thought of this previously and posted it another time. If so, I apologize. I still think the original idea was a great one. Baldy Locks

What a great idea. Could do the same thing to wash under the pickup after driving down the beach. Thanks for posting.
