my father in law gave me two old reels to clean some of his dads vintage spinning reels so i get this Bantam Chromica that i cant find a schematic for or any info what so ever on. the only chromica cm-200 i find has a bar and the internals are completly different. at first the thiumb bar wouldnt releasse so i took it apart cleaned the bearings didnt touch much else since there was no dirt in it. now the reel handle spins backwards but the thumb bar works. any help would be great. thank you Robert

So I fixed the spinning backwards problem I had put the bearings in backwards. Now she you reel it makes a ticking sound. Any clue what that could be.

Probably the anti reverse pawl.. the e series were HORRIBLE about the anti dog ticking

Thanks I ended up giving the reel away in the pay it forward section. I got it really clean and smooth tho lol.
