Guys, I got to Rayhub by 7:00, was about to launch boat off the public boat ramp off hway 30, it was shut down. We finally launched at chandlers landing, very nice marina, but it is not $5 per day stated online, it is $10, but very nice location near what I think is the power plant and the dam. As soon as we left the no wake zone the finder started to pick up fish, at about 18 ft. I have a humming bird, and it shows fish in 4 sizes, shad, small, medium, and large. We stopped and fished at 21-23 feet just outside of the no wake zone. I was slow rolling dual sassys and my buddy a rooster tail. Not a nibble. Tried what I believed to be " dead sticking" nothing. After about 30 min, we moved south west towards the plant, picked up tons of fish at 28-30 feet fished same techniques, but adding live bait. Nothing,. Moved south again about 200 yards from the dam tons of fish again on the finder. No bites. It was 11 am when we headed in. Fish 2- us 0. They were there for sure, just can't get them to bite. Will try again this weekend. Any questions I would gladly answer. But it was a great sight seeing trip. Thank you

Shawn, you were on the right track down by the dam. If you Are marking fish, you have to put the lure at their depth, almost in their face!
Don't give up, if you hear of a bunch of us local guys going Out, come out and join the fun. We kinda put out a group fish finding party!
It normally works one way or another. Glad you got on the water.
Mike

ARE WE GONNA GET REPORT TODAY FROM SHAWN Z?
I was thinking the same thing... I live and work from home above Harbor Bay and it was killing me looking out there today. He had to have caught some! Wind cooperated today. It killed me too as I drove to work...I hope the wind is good in the morning. I'll be on the water around 9:30.
