Lamiglas Excel if you can get by the color. Nice rods for the money that are made in the USA.

I use a St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinnerbait rod and love it. However I use it for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, never tried a worm on it. I use an All-Star(Houston,TX.) 7 FT. Med. Hvy for worms. I personally love the IM10 Graphite for worms.
As stated above, Falcon rods are nice as well. I have a couple of the Originals from 1992 and they hold up well. Never tried the Bucoo.

I have been thinking about getting a 7' MH Mojo as a sort of all purpose rod. Anyone done the same?

I bought a couple of the Temple Fork Outfitter rods. For $99 they seem to do the job nicely.

Talk to Ron at Reel Time Rods. I've got a rod thats less the $100 that for the price came with a stick jacket and is lighter weight than a BPS carbonlite. I love its super sensitive.

More importantly, spinnerbait rod and worm rod are two completely different rod needs. As far as american made for near $100, I'll agree with the Falcon folks but I like the XG Coastal and Lowrider series. Coastal is alway $89 and Lowrider is under $100 during rod riots

My BuCoo is hands down my favorite rod. Really solid and well built, very light, and the oversized handle fits my hand really well.
