Decided on a late start to today’s trip, putting in at 1:00 PM. Winds were out of the North at about 5 to 10 MPH with the air temperature holding at 56 degrees and the water temperature right at 54 degrees. Most of the lake is stained and remains almost 17 feet low even with the rain we had. Did a lot of moving around and a variety of different bait today trying to locate fish. Fished Deep pockets and the deep bends in the river channel. Fished both shallow weed beds and the deep edges of the weed beds and only managing to catch 3 Largemouth Bass and they came in 8 feet of water on a small crankbait. Two were 13 inches and 1 went 3 ˝ lbs. Ended our trip at 4:30 PM.
