All kidding aside IMO. from my past experiences and this statement is not based on biological or aquatic findings! the area lot owners suffered heavy vegetation growth and could not get their boats out.4 and 3 years ago an regulated aquatic treatment group sprayed, did it kill the fish ? proably not,but it destroyed 1/3 of all the lake vegetation. That produces and use's oxygen it destroyed 1/3 of the cover and forage used by shad and all other species of fish.putting all forage at higher risk the bait balls have shrunk greatly since these treatments, when food supply drops so do numbers of fish IT'S nature normally the big ones.We whatched the transition of this as we did fish this lake an avg. of 4-5 times per. week between 3 product testers over 7,000 fish were caught in the year of 2009 with 80% being released.Small impoundments suffer more than larger bodies during this type of treatment, will it be back?I don't know the lake is in pretty bad shape at this time.Take a KID fishing its a great place to teach them, but forget about great #'s and 3 lber's it's gonna be awhile.
