Does anyone know if there is any difference between the driftmaster lil' pro star base and the pro star base other than the lil' pro being threaded for 3/8 inch thread and the other being 1/2 inch? Are they physically the same size otherwise or is the pro heavier duty? Thanks in advance.

The lil'pro is 3/8" all the way up and the pro star is 1/2"
material all the way up. That being said, the pro's are heavier.
