Went to Chisolm Park Jan 2 2012 action real slow no bites no trout being caught by anyone even the birds were having a rough time.Mt Dew I am the crazy you meet in Dec. there. Also FYI Euless as of Jan 1 2012 has a no smoking ban at the park- signs posted at park.....
I have been to Chisolm Park 5 times since Dec 1st fly fishing and not even a bump from even a perch, the birds have done good several times when I have been there though.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck but thanks for the report. I was back a few days later and didn't get anything either, not sure why. I switched over to crappie fishing in the creeks off joe pole after xmas.

those trout really dont do much besides feed the comorants. They should stock them in the lakes, instead and just feed the fish with them. it would be more beneficial.
YOu really need to be there when they release the trout. it takes an hour or so to start catching them. They taste horrible anyways. Crappie fillets are 100 times better.
