Hey there. Fished Lavon north of H380 for the last two years and tore them up. Now it is a dry cow pasture and no water in sight. Need a new place to fish this summer. Thinking Twok. Looking for the same type of water. Shallow, trees, creeks, no jet ski's, safe baot ramps (thieves), etc. Fishing from a 14 ft jon boat so tend to stay away from main lake areas. Only been to Twok a few times. Not aware of any boat ramps on the north side. Not looking for someone's spot, just a new place to fish cause Lavon will probably not be an option for awhile. Live in Royse City. Hubbard too big, Cooper too low.

Thanks,
Mike

You can still launch at little ridge.

I use to also have a jon boat---your issue is waves and wind! Over at T-wok....you can put in at the 2 mile bridge and head due north towards pawnee inlet. Lots and lots of timber. It still leaves you a pretty good run up there......but i believe it to be the closest ramp. Litle ridge is only ramp open at lavon as far as i know....still leaves you a pretty good run to tricky point and all the timbers but certainly not a bad trip on the water if the wind is ok. I caught multiple cats in the timbers at tricky point area....lots of fish.

Just realized that Little Ridge is the power plant area. That is good bc that would be a good location for me. Fished Mallard cove and the dam area a lot so the area is familar. Still though, north of 380 was great. Could fish it in a 20 mph wind and have no issues at all. Have actually run the lenght of the lake in my boat on a calm day, just have to be carefull. Thanks for the input. May still try Twok this year too.

I jon boat fish lewisville a couple of times a week and get up to ray bob twice a month. If you can go fishing on weekday you'll have plenty of areas. What size motor do you run? I have a 12ft jon with 2.5 merc and it gets me around well. Goodluck finding a new honey hole. They really need to open the Texoma pipeline back up, zebra mussels or not.

Caddo Arm of Twak is full of trees but I think that ramp is out of the water. You may be able to launch a jon boat.
