The pressure is up there today. But a bad day on the water beats a day at work anytime. I have enjoyed the day with my two girls better.

Almost as bad as lanman71 - caught one, and missed 2. Bite was very slow, and extremely light when they did bite - just sorta picked up the minner tipped on a jighead and started slowwwwwly swimming away.

We ended up with 20 decent keepers today... all of these were right on the bottom. Most of them were blacks with a couple of white crappie. Bobby Garland Baby Shads in Black Gum and Monkey Milk on a 1/16oz pink head seemed to work best.

It was good seeing you today Rowdy!

Stripers like em' to! At least you broke it on a fish...makes it easier to swallow than stepped on, tailgate, etc..

Fished Fork Yesterday (Monday) we had 32.
Bobby Garlands slab slayers seems 38 was the magic dept.
The wind never let up, a little chilly and it was very hard to fish where I really needed to.

La Mancha crappie dock was not bad this morning. Had dock to myself from 7am till about 11am. Left at 1 with 23 keepers and caught a several dingers. Overall was a suprisingly great day until the wind kicked up around 11.

Went to Palestine this morning. It was pretty chilly. Had 50 keeper crappie and one huge gill, three kitties, and too many sand bass. Also, had about 5 crappie about the size of a minnow. Fished the bridge with minnows and chartruese SLAB BANDITS. Fished from 7:30 'til 2:00. A beautiful day and no more than five boats at any given time.
