I'm looking for Flyrod and/reel 000-3WT.

Don't know that there would be interest for a trade for the heavier conventional gear but it might be worth a try.

Have you cast anything under 3 wt yet?
The Consensus on the UL board is that the two weight is the sweet spot and is a good place to start- also its easier to find less expensive gear in the 2WT. Most UL aficionados have a couple of these so a trade might be more likely.

keebranch: Yes I tried as small as a 2WT, you're right, I'll have a better chance looking for a 2WT.

Rev TCF: I hope "pearow" has some interest, I'm getting more into the UL Fishing and the tackle I have has been used only 5x, some has never been used, I bought it all new and take great care of my tackle.

Don't overlook the new TFO 3wt Pro Series II.
It's $159 and is an all around good rod for small warm water and cold water applications.

Post your stuff in the classifieds section and see if you can get some buyers (it can't hurt to try) and link the post here and in Saltwater Fly Fishing.

I can build you what you want; inexpensive but worth the money. I also have a lot of rods for trade/purchase. I have a new 6 foot 2/3 graphite for $100 plus shipping; built on a tiger eye blank with cap and ring reelseat, dark mahogony insert-p-

I'm not looking to buy any more tackle, just trade what I have.
