Went to Cally on New Years Eve day. First time fishing in a month. A little chilly to start but it warmed up nicely. No shad at the ramp so I went to the crappie wall and quickley got all I needed, but would find out later I really didn't need them as much. The bite and wind were a bit slow to start but both eventually picked up. Only ended up with 12, mix of blues and channels. My top three really made the trip worth while, 8.9 blue, 6.6 blue and a 5.6 channel. The rest as you can see were decent for the most part. 11 were caught on chicken liver and one on shad, that was the big channel. All caught drifting in 20 to 30 foot of water. Ended up giving all my excess shad to another fella that was near by. He was also drifting and doing well.
