Went out from 1 to 4 PM today - 1st time out since late October. Launched at Log Cabin and went to catch some white bass to eat. Found them in 3 spots: Greenhouse Ridge, Staubach Hump and Key Ranch North in 15 to 19 ft water. Caught 25 whites, 2 legal hybrids, a 12.5 inch yellow bass and 3 cats. Caught em on #2 and #4 Mepps silver spinners fished slowly along the bottom.

Put boat back in friend's deep water boat house, so maybe I'll be fishing a little more now.

I imagine most boat docks are high and dry. Has the lake come up any with the recent rains?

It came up 9 inches from low point.

Unless you know of a POA ramp there aren't any serviceable ramps on the west side of the lake.
Cedar Creek landing has been closed for several years.
Log Cabin is the best/only place to launch at this time.

I only took 1 pic - of the 22 inch hybrid. The sandbass would look a lot like this stringer of 25 whites caught a couple of years ago. Smallest was 12 inches and largest about 15 inches with avg about 13 inches. 21 were females full of eggs.
