Odd thing happens when I put my boat on the trailer......

When it gets on the trailer and I give the gas to push it on....the motor trims down all by
Its self...

Anyone ever had this issue? I hate it....my prop and skeg are messed up do to this?

Any ideas?

Maybe the switch or wiring for the trim on the shifter.

I am not an expert, but I believe you either have air in your system or have an internal leak.

Are you sure its not just tha "tilt" part thats going down? Tha tilt will not hold hardly any power. It will give way till it gets to tha "trim rods". Once it gets to those it should stop goin' down. They should hold it at any and/or all power applied.............

TWL...it's the motor trimming all the way down....it's just odd that it only happens on the trailer....never on the lake..meaning the motor trimming down when I take off...

I guess Tommy and the boys at Rockwall Marine get to see my boat again....

Hope it ain't like last time....took it in for an alarm that went off....well I got to buy a new power head!

Thanks guys

Yes.....it just does it by it self.... I don't know why it would...as it only does it on the trailer...

BC01.... Have you had issues with this? If I'm not real careful I hit the ramp....

My skeg is scratched up and a few nicks on my prop.....

Chrisr mine does when it is on the trailer and I am pushing the boat further up. I thought this was normal. I have no issue when trim up when I am moving on the lake. Not sure If my skeg has hit the ramp. I need to check. If u figure out if this is a problem I am curious to know.

Well now I know its not just me....last 2 times at Fork I'm bumping the ramp...

Fork is so low it might just be the ramps....I fished Texoma a few weeks ago and no issues when loading...

I'm still going to have Tommy check it out next time my boat is there.....

Thx

Really strange. I'd swap tha up/down relays and/or solinoids (depending on year). If it dosen't follow tha change you will need ta go to tha buttons (all four if ya got one on tha wheel)and/or wireing. This is something I've never seen before! Just happening when your loading that is......... nuts
