Happy New Years to all my fishing friends

I fished today with returning friends Mike Black, his dad Wayne Black, and his son Garrett Black, from Cypress, TX. They fished with me last year at lake Somerville, on New Years Eve and caught last years record fish #6,668. They returned this year,to Gibbons Creek, to do the same, and Wayne managed to get the last one, #7,306 for the year. It has been a good year.

All fish caught on CJ's Crawdad punch bait, using tight lines, in 6-9 foot water.

Great job Mr. Kirk and congrats on a very successful year! Wishing you the best for 2012 as well.

That's amazing. That's an average of over 20 fish a day. Way to go.

Caribou, in 2010 we averaged 43 fish per trip, in 2011 we had 52.8 fish per trip.

That's a great year with this drought and all Weldon. The Yegua is running again, finally got enough rain to get her moving again here.
