I'm headed down to Corpus to welcome the new year out on the beach. I figured while I'm out camping on the beach why not bring my fishing pole and some tackle. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck out on the beach lately and if so what I should fish with.

Yeah man, went to Padres Island National Seashore (PINS) and caught a ton of whiting and two pompano about 5-10 miles down. Used green fish bites and was getting bit multiple times on each cast. No game fish at all.
