Does Anybody know what fish are in west fork Trinity near highway 51.

Can you tell me where HWY 51 is? I fish the Trinity in Fort Worth and I think I could answer your question, but I don't see HWY 51 on Google Maps.

Highway 51 crosses the West Fork just south of Decatur. It is above Eagle Mountain Lake. You should be able to count on catfish and most other species which have come upstream from Eagle Mountain. How much water is there? With Bridgeport so low I would not think there would be much water in the river.

Ah, okay. I fish the Trinity in the stretch below lake worth (near the military base), so it's probably a lot different than above Eagle Lake, but my son and I have caught most varieties of sunfish, spotted bass, largemouths, channel cats, and white bass. Small spinner baits tear it up.
