I don't post much on this site but I figure some of you might enjoy this so I copied it from the other site.

Well, I took my family out fishing with me because they want to know where I am always running off to and what the big deal is. I took my father-in-law (kayak fished twice before), brother-in-law (kayak fished twice before), sister-in-law (never kayak fished or hardly fished for that matter) and my wife (kayaked once before). I had my work cut out for me. I took them to a marsh I know of that is a fairly easy paddle to get to. My BIL went in first and hooked up with a keeper red in the first 5 minutes. I went behind him and hooked up only to lose the fish because I got lazy and didn't retie since my last trip out. Fishing slowed down for a little while but the tide was falling out fast and I knew it would be on soon. I was more right then I knew I would be.

My wife caught her first red ever:

My SIL caught her first red ever:

My wife caught her first flounder ever:

The water fell out of this marsh unti there was nothing left (except redfish). I finally understand why JPChavez is always catching fish and his kayak is always full of mud. I can't believe how long it has taken me to figure it out. All of our kayaks were covered in mud and we grinded out 5 full limits of redfish, an almost 90 pound stringer, and a couple black drum came across my line as well. We probably caught and released easily another 30 more. It took me almost 2 hours to clean and vacuum seal the fillets. The biggest compliment was the guys asking me how much I charge to take people out and if they had to have their own kayaks or if I provided. lol

Almost forgot the details you guys are looing for:

Launched a little after 7:00.
Temp was around 50.
Winds out of the NW at around 10mph.
Every single fish caught on 1/16 jigs with white Gulp swimming mullet.

Only bad thing I see in this trip is that you will never get to go out alone again!
