I'm looking for fellow kayak fishermen around Lubbock or even the surrounding areas. I would like to start a good group of us who fish the area but mainly focusing on Alan Henry and even set up some tournaments. I know most of you guys aren't in my area but at the least I would like to join some clubs around Texas. Thanks

I am up in wichita falls a bit east of you, not sure hoe far (I am on my phone so I can not map it) but I am always good for a meet and greet with some fishing thrown in. I am always down to explore a new lake.

LOL...As you can see we like to kid around from time to time...
Josh it's great to see you trying to get some kayakers together over there. We have a pretty good group of kayakers over here in the DFW area. If you can't get anything together over there. Then your welcome to come join us.

Starting in 2012 there is going to be a new kayak bass tournament trail here in the north Texas area. Come fish one or two if you can. Or just come and hang out. Neumie is heading it up. Here are the "Tentative" dates. March 17th - Lake Ray Roberts April 14th - Lake Fork May 5th - Lake Grapevine" http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/6904849/3

Around Wichita Falls there's several lakes. Millers creek, Buffalo, Arrowhead, Nocona, Amon Carter just to name a few there's Kemp but you might be lucky to catch a carp out there. The Brazos river below PK is only about an hour form here so there's ya a clearish river to fish.

Hate you Josh, your lucky you are a great guy been driving for 12 hrs so forgive the spelling. NoconaBrian summed up all the fish more or less, we have some great lakes out here that do not see a ton of fishing pressure for some reason.
