I lived 2 blocks from bachman in the 70's. We fished under Lemon Ave and Webb Chapel Rd. That was 40yrs ago so who knows but looking forward to hearing what you found. Good luck and be safe

Should be crappie up where the creek comes in; lots of bass as well since shad also congregate there.

Shad have been so thick around the Lemmon Avenue Bridges that the Seagulls, the cormorants and the Egrets have bunched up there by the Hundreds! The shad are the 5-6 inch variety, so not sure if the crappie can eat em but the bass sure can! I tried it for about an hour yesterday afternoon without a bite. But shad on surface everywhere in that part of the lake

That's what you get for fishing early in the morning! These are urban fish! They don't even go looking for lures and hooks till after a good champagne BRUNCH!!! Now go after em at night, and it's Katie Bar the Door.

If it was only a foot deep, you were on the south side of the bridge/water! WRONG SIDE!!! Much deeper on the North side, and much better fishing!

Listen to the lunatics like me and you'll catch fish at the Urban Puddles!!!

Just say no to "crack of dawn" fishing1
