on a serious note there are some really talented young guys fishing for crappie these days and having a good time doing so you can see some RIPPIN LIPPS videos on youtube very funny at times and when they being serious they haul plenty of fish.

After that, you realize that using 1 pole is not enough, and why stop at 2? What you really need is a 4 rod spider rigging system. Then you convince yourself that the reason you can't catch fish is because you don't have SI. "I mean I could instantly see if there are fish there, and not waste time, expensive gas, minnows, battery power...It would save money in the long run if you think about it!" This will be how to justify the expense to yourself. Have fun! Get ready to be frustrated, rewarded, then frustrated again!
