Any suggestions on where to catch shad mid morning? Will be deer hunting a friends place below the dam and plan on fishing mid-morning thru mid afternoon.

If your bent on getting shad hmmm loco save yourself alot of time and headache and just hop over to Lake Aquila and get them.

Absolutely no need for shad right now unless your catfishing, get you some 3 and 5 inch flukes on a 1/2 - 1 oz jig head and deadstick 'em!!!!!! spend the time fishing instead of catching bait.
