Ya think I am going to get one tomorrow. Trinity rods is building me an ultra light rod, they said it will weigh 2.2oz when complete matched up with this it wont even feel like I have anything in my hand.

I will write a review after I fish with it, just wanted to see if I could get one before I bought it

I agree! Mat built me a 7'0" ML spinning rod on a St Croix SCIV blank, and after a few PM's on how I wanted it built, did an outstanding job....Excellent craftsmanship on this rod!....Show us pics when he's finished - been thinking about a new UL myself .

Jsplinter I have 2 of them One is mounted on a Wally IM8 7ft jigging rod and the other is on a Pro Angler 8ft. I am pleased with the performance. The line does not get hung up in the crease of the spools like the old Wally reels and the are alot smoother.

Where are the reviews? I am thinking about getting one too.

It looks like there isn't a guide on the reel for the line.. That could be frustrating trying to keep the line even on the spool

Academy here in Cedar Park had one in stock. Took a good look @ it. Appeared to be cheaply made. Put it back on the shelf. You get what you pay for.

I ordered one, haven't gotten it yet. I will review after I check it out
