I was just down the way from this big fight in the Kid won. Great job and nice catch. Free Wall Mount  The Crappie fishing was slow on Fork on yesterday....

Awesome fish! Congratulation to your son!
Years ago I was standing at the edge of a small lake that gets fresh water only when the Red River gets high. I had a jig tied on and was just dipping it in the water about three inches from the bank. A 7-8 pound black bass that was on its nest exploded on that jig and scared the living daylights out of me. I did land the fish but I was not expecting a bite, much less a fish that big, that closed to the bank.
Keep crappie fishing a good things will come.
