Wow, what a day on Tawakoni! Had the pleasure of fishing with Marcus Banner aka Reelcrazy today and boy was it a treat. His buddy came down with the flu and could not make it, so it was just he and I today. Started out at 9am with more North wind than what was called for and I had my reservations for the days outing, but the winds subdued within an haour or so and it was game on! The hybrid stacked up and bit without much compromise today. We started out drifting and had several doubles, then a triple, and almost a quadruple hook up They bit so good, we had to put some rods back up Marcus caught a pig hybrid that wen a little over 9lbs and said it was his biggest hybrid to date. Then.......it happened.....we moved looking for big fish and he caught the largest hybrid any customer has ever caught with me

13.5 Pounds!



Followed by a couple more pig hybrid that went in the 9 pound range and 3 good striper. After locating fish this morning, I really dont think we ever went more than 5 minutes today without a fish on the line. It was an epic day!




On one of the best notes of the day, Marcus turned her back to Twok to fight another day. We held one shy of our limit all day in case we caught a good striper, but he wanted to let this trophy go

You said it all Matt! This is about the fourth trip I've gone out with Lakeguide and needless to say it was the BEST outing yet! He was slaying them early (with all that experience and all) while I could barely hook up. They wanted it still and would only tap it before they were gone. I got lucky on the big girl because she hit it once before coming back and bam. Drag was peeling and I couldn't even get a turn out of her. I said, "Matt I think this is the big fish of the day." The rest is history and memories. Thanks again Matt for an "Epic" day.

A lot of people think the Daisy Fuentes technique is a little off the beaten path, but I swear some days it will outproduce any other method out there for big fish
