Yesterday, I took a trip to ye old academy sports and outdoor store and came upon this brand named "H2O xpress". I noticed their prices were much lower than those of the other brands I know like rapala, rebel, strike king etc... I figured they must be a "generic" brand or academy's brand so I was like what the heck. I bought two crank baits. One they call a "red glitter craw" which is designed to dive 10-14 ft. And another called "bluegill". It dives 5-8 ft. So my question is, has anyone else used this brand with luck?

yep. I've tried their reels, hooks, tungsten, and hard baits and haven't had any problems with any. In fact, the H20 XPRESS Mettle is one of my favorite reels and its only $50. definitely recommend their products.
PS: if you like pond fishing, pick you up some CRUL squarebill cranks in sexy shad.

Definantly will have to check them out more. And I like pond fishing more in some cases than fishing in a big lake.

I have the red glitter craw and its is a exceptional lure. i have caught a bass and a crappie on it but it depends on the location and i barely use it i mostly use worms.

Excellent products. I use quite a lot of the H2O products. If there is a downside or 2, you might consider changing the hooks on the cranks. The other downside is they are pretty high quality knock-offs made in China but, what isn't anymore.

I like their cranks but they do have a problem with the bill breaking. Academy will replace them but you still have to take them back. I have gotten to where I use the H2Os in practice or fun fishing and go to my LC and Excaliber for tournaments

I respectfully disagree. No one will ever be able to prove that a $20 crankbait will catch any more fish than a $5 one.

Ive tried (pretty much hooked now) their reels, hooks, hard plastic lures.

All work great.

I would think it depends on the action the angler gives the lure. I also don't know if fish care how much I spend on my tackle, then again I haven't gone a bass to tell me.

Most of their H2O products are as good as anything near the same price, so don't hesitate.
Except line, I had them spool a reel with 12# H2O mono line once, and it snapped repeatedly and very easily (worst was a 2lb fish "flopped" while I was getting ready to get it to remove my crankbait and snapped the line I was holding onto at the time... fish=1 line=0. Lost a couple of lures on casts also, that line was brittle!
I just noticed the other day all their lines are on "clearance", so maybe they are getting a new maker onboard for better quality, but my only experience with their line so far was very negative.
Everything else I've liked.

I have used some of there lures for hybrids and stripers. They have held up extremely well. If they can take the abuse of a striper than they can handle LMB easy. Their Rain/Wind suit is awesome.

I use the h2o hollow body frogs and have had great success with them. Smaller in size for the body of waters I fish. My best two fish came off of them including my PB

I received as a Christmas Gift the assorted "Swim Baits" & tried a couple in the pool. They swim/work great to my surprise. Very life like.
The thing I HATE though is are a Chinese product. I've been trying hard in the last few yrs to buy only USA made.

Is it the package that has like six or seven in it? I was looking at that but didn't want to spend a bunch on something that was terrible.
