We have hunted hard for the past week and haven't had any luck, so we decided to give the deer a break and picked up the almighty rod and reels and tried our luck trout fishing. We limited out and had a great time.



These were all caught at the Abilene State Park.

It's a rare coloration of the rainbow trout (from what I've read). There were several of them stocked in this little pond though. It makes for an awesome looking little fish though. Maybe someone else on here can answer that question. Thanks for the comments.
